Peter B. Morin – Mr. Morin is a Managing Director and Founder of Watermark Companies, LLC. In 1990 Mr. Morin founded Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation (AHMC). From a statewide program throughout California to a successful nationwide service company with operations in over 21 states, today, AHMC is an incredible public private partnership story that benefits government, corporate sponsors, and communities.
Mr. Morin has led Watermark Companies since its inception and has been involved in successful investments within the areas of manufacturing, oil field service, automotive, media, transaction processing, and financial services.
Prior to Watermark, Mr. Morin worked in the audit and tax department of KPMG Peat Marwick, where he received his C.P.A. Mr. Morin is also a Partner with Sage Partners LTD, a middle market investment bank. Mr. Morin is also a managing member of Pioneer Acquisitions LLC, an entity which purchases distressed debt. Mr. Morin serves on the boards of Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation, Southgate Engineering, Abrado LLC, Concierge HQ LLC, and Rayne Corporation.
Mr. Morin is also an active member of the California Coast Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization and has held several board positions including Chapter Chairman. Mr. Morin received his MBA with a major in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a BS in Accounting from the University of Santa Clara, cum laude.
Todd M. Binet – Mr. Binet is a Managing Director of Watermark. He is the former CEO and founder of BVIG Financial. BVIG completed over $1 billion in transactions within its first six years. BVIG was sold in October 2007 and the founding shareholders achieved a 35x return in five years. Mr. Binet has over 20 years of business experience, ranging from merchant banking to executive positions with private and public companies.
Mr. Binet was formerly the President and a Director of Telscape International, Inc., a $130 million plus telecommunications provider. Prior to joining Telscape, Mr. Binet was a partner in a middle market merchant banking firm with over $30 million in capital. Mr. Binet was the Treasurer of Alamo Group, Inc. from 1992 to 1995. Alamo is a $200 million-plus international manufacturing company that trades on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Binet is also Partner in Sage Partners Ltd., a middle market investment banking firm.
Mr. Binet earned a BBA in finance from Southern Methodist University with honors, a MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Binet is a recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Andrew H. Spence – Mr. Spence is a Managing Director and founder of Agincourt Capital Partners LLC. Prior to founding Agincourt Capital Partners, Mr. Spence co-founded Tri-Artisan Partners, a New York-based merchant bank; before that, he served as Head of the Industrial Manufacturing & Technologies Group for North America in the investment Banking Divisions of ABN AMRO and ING Barings; formerly he was involved in the highly successful management buyout of Furman from Zerox Corporation. Mr. Spence also served in the M&A departments of Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley in New York.
During the course of his career, he has completed over $10 billion in transactions. Mr. Spence currently serves on the Boards of Cascade Medical Enterprises, El Capitan Enterprises, Wallboard Supply Company and Betatronix, LLC.
Mr. Spence received his Bachelors of Arts degree with Highest Honors in Economics and English Literature from Bucknell University, and his Masters of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
